Urdu Language

I was very surprised when my son asked me this innocent question that our language is not good or Urdu language is not good ???

So I asked him, son, why are you asking?

So he innocently said that the teacher in the school says speak English, no one speaks Urdu in the class, whoever spoke Urdu will be punished. Urdu language is not very good that we do not speak? His question made me think, are we really ignoring and degrading our language?

The child's question was not so difficult but it was becoming quite difficult to answer it because his teacher at school forces all the children in the school to speak English. He does not understand some lessons in English, but English must be spoken. Using the words of the child and not being able to understand what he is saying, but the school officials are still adamant that the children will only speak English. It is not the fault of the schools.to  speak in english parents also like their children talk in English all the time.

In my opinion, in our society and in our country, English-speaking children who speak fluent English are given the title of being intelligent. It is said that the one who speaks English is probably a successful and worthy child, he will progress and the one who likes Urdu or doesn't want to speak English, then he is said to be Pando, maybe he understands. It does not come, it is useless and unworthy.

Not the school but we the parents and the child is treated in the same way at home.

But if you think about it, our Urdu language is a very beautiful and vast language, now the English speaking people have respected their language, they have made their language an international language and what have we done for our language, what have we done for our language. We have not done any service because we have remained slaves to English, we have not been able to speak our language, we are not teaching our children Urdu language.

Our minds have become such that a child or a person who does not speak English is probably not an educated person. It is a moment of reflection that the one who honored his language and made it an international language has done good to his language and to himself.

Can't we? If we can't make it an international language, then at least make it a national language spoken in our country. Teach our children in such a way that they can understand Urdu well. Now the step is here. It has reached that there are some words in common Urdu language which the child does not understand if we explain it in Urdu, we cannot understand its meaning. Self-controversial people are suffering the decline of their language and this is a great moment of concern for us. We should value our language and make it respectable in the whole world and not leave it alone. The sign of the nation is that they carry their values and their traditions with their language.
