Multan is home to several universities and colleges, including the Bahauddin Zakariya University, which is one of the largest universities in the country. The city experiences monsoon rains from July to September, which provide relief from the scorching heat. The best time to visit Multan is between October and March when the weather is cooler and more pleasant.
